Serbian Market Potential Indonesian Cocoa and Palm?

 Business - Deputy Trade Minister, Mahendra Siregar said the countries of East and Southeast Europe, particularly Serbia, as the marketpotential of cocoa and oil palm products of Indonesia.



"We see Serbia is one of the great potential (for cocoa and palm oil products Indonesia),"said Mahendra on the sidelines of the exposure on the development of staple food prices, in Jakarta on Friday (20/05/2011).

This was put forward after a visit to several countries in the region,along with a number of employers in both industries. "We wereaccompanied by businessmen engaged in the cocoa and oil palm,which already held meetings with relevant parties to explore the opening of the entrances directly into the region," he said.

In addition to distributing products to these countries, he continued,that area can also be used as a transhipment, the place fordistribution to all regions in Eastern Europe. "In fact it is notpossible in turn get into Western Europe," he said. Given the landand river transportation routes in Europe are in very goodcondition.
